LEADTOP manufactures steel office, storage and workshop furniture in Luoyang, Henan, and supplies it to importers, wholesalers and project buyers. Production runs in our own factory on three lines, with additional capacity coordinated through partner factories. This page explains what is made, how a specification is controlled and what has to be confirmed before an order is placed.
What this manufacturer actually makes
The range is steel furniture for working buildings rather than domestic furniture: filing and archive storage, general storage cabinets, lockers, mobile pedestals, shelving and bookcases, workbenches and desks, and purpose-built cabinets for tools, keys, PPE and security items. Eight product groups are organised on this site, with candidate profiles under each group.
Filing and archive storage — vertical and lateral filing cabinets, tambour and roll-door units, mobile and static archive shelving. Filing cabinets, archive storage systems.
General storage — two-door and multi-door storage cabinets, cupboards, mixed shelving units. Steel storage cabinets.
Personal storage — employee lockers in two, four, six and nine-door configurations, with or without ventilation and coin lock options. Metal lockers.
Under-desk storage — mobile and fixed pedestals with two or three drawers. Mobile pedestals.
Shelving and display — office shelving, bookcases and wall-mounted shelf systems. Shelving and bookcases.
Work surfaces — steel workbenches, packing tables, height-adjustable desks and workstation frames. Desks and workbenches.
Specialist storage — tool cabinets, tool trolleys, key cabinets, PPE cabinets, security and gun cabinets. Specialty steel cabinets.
Each product page on this site is a planning profile, not a published catalogue entry. Model, dimensions, steel grade and thickness, finish, lock and packing are confirmed in writing for the specific item before a quotation is issued.
How production is organised
LEADTOP operates its own steel furniture factory in the Luoyang area of Henan Province, with three production lines and more than 200 employees across production, quality and commercial functions. Beyond that owned capacity, production is also coordinated with partner factories nearby when a model, a finish or a volume sits outside what the own lines are scheduled to run.
This matters when you compare suppliers. An order placed through LEADTOP is built at a named production source, and that source is confirmed per model and per order rather than assumed from a general company profile.
What is not published here: factory floor area, annual output, machine counts, export country lists and customer references. Those figures have not been supplied as verified data, so they are not stated on this page.
Specification control before production
Most quality problems in steel furniture start before the first sheet is cut. The specification step turns your requirement into a document the line can build against:
Drawing and size confirmation — external dimensions, internal clearances, drawer or shelf layout, plinth or castor height.
Material and thickness — steel grade and sheet thickness for body, doors, shelves and drawer fronts, stated per part rather than as a single blanket figure.
Hardware schedule — lock type and key management, drawer suspension, hinges, handles, label holders, ventilation and cable access.
Finish specification — powder coating colour reference, gloss level, surface preparation and any touch-up requirement.
Packing and loading decision — assembled, knock-down or flat-pack; carton dimensions and quantity per carton feed directly into container loading.
Approval happens against that document. Sample approval, colour approval and pre-production confirmation are agreed per order, and any change after approval is re-quoted rather than absorbed silently.
Quality checks during the run
Inspection is planned around what can actually be checked on steel furniture:
Incoming sheet and coil check for thickness and surface condition.
First-off sample check after press, fold and weld set-up.
In-process checks on dimensions, squareness, weld penetration and door or drawer alignment.
Pre-treatment and coating checks: film thickness, colour match against the approved reference, adhesion and appearance.
Assembly and function check: lock operation, drawer travel, door swing, shelf fit, castor and brake function.
Packing check: carton strength, edge protection, hardware bag completeness, labelling and loading pattern.
Third-party inspection is welcome and can be arranged by the buyer or coordinated on request. The scope, sampling plan and who attends are agreed before production starts, so the inspection matches the order rather than a generic checklist.
Packing, loading and delivery terms
Knock-down packing reduces shipped volume and is the usual choice for volume cabinet orders; assembled packing protects a finished product but costs container space. Gun cabinets are not offered in a knock-down version. Carton dimensions, quantity per carton, gross weight and stackability are what determine container loading, so loading is calculated from packing data for the confirmed model rather than from a generic figure.
Export terms, port of loading, documentation and labelling are quoted per order. A shipment schedule is agreed against the confirmed production slot and the chosen shipping route.
Who buys from this kind of manufacturer
Furniture importers building a steel range for their own market, often starting with two or three best-selling categories.
Office furniture wholesalers that need a stable supply base behind a catalogue or a dealer network.
Project and contract suppliers fitting out offices, schools, clinics, warehouses and public buildings, where several product groups have to arrive coordinated.
Online and catalogue sellers that need consistent packing and repeatable specification across repeat orders.
A first inquiry is most useful with four things: the product group, the destination market, an approximate quantity and any reference photo or drawing you already have. A finished specification is not required to start.
Manufacturer questions buyers ask
Do you own the factory or work through trading partners?
LEADTOP operates its own steel furniture factory in the Luoyang area of Henan, China, with three production lines and more than 200 employees, and also coordinates production with partner factories nearby. The production source for a given model is confirmed per order.
Which product groups can you manufacture?
Eight groups: filing and archive storage, steel storage cabinets, metal lockers, mobile pedestals, shelving and bookcases, desks and workbenches, archive storage systems and specialty steel cabinets including tool, key and PPE storage.
Can you produce a model from our drawing?
Yes, subject to review. The drawing is checked for material thickness, bend radii, hardware fit and packing implications, then quoted with the tooling, sampling and approval steps the model actually needs.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the model, the configuration and the packing method, so it is stated in the quotation rather than published as one site-wide number. Repeat models generally have a lower threshold than a new tooling project.
How long does production take?
Lead time is quoted against the confirmed production slot, the finishing requirement and the packing choice. Sample and approval time is counted separately, because a new colour or a new tooling item adds steps before the run starts.
Do you supply certifications or test reports?
Certification and test reports are confirmed for the exact product and destination market when they exist for that model. No general certification is claimed on this page, and any document offered is checked against the specific product before it is presented to a buyer.
Can buyers inspect before shipment?
Yes. Third-party inspection, buyer inspection or a pre-shipment photo record can be agreed before production starts, with the sampling plan and acceptance criteria fixed at that point.
